Readiness

Readiness asks whether the requirements for a particular action are met at the decision point. It needs a defined action and entry conditions. Maturity concerns the broader dependability of capabilities over time.

Ready for a pilot is not ready for every use

A fictional assistant may meet conditions for staff-only drafting in one branch. That does not make it ready for automatic refunds or deployment to a branch with different policies.

Specify the permitted users, actions, candidate version, evidence, and unresolved blockers. Approval for an earlier scope cannot silently authorize an expanded one.

Revisit the conditions

A changed connector or permission rule can affect readiness even in an experienced organization. Missing required evidence can justify withholding a launch without claiming that a failure has been observed. Conversely, meeting narrow pilot conditions does not imply high maturity across the whole organization.
